VersaCut GH is made in Germany for Single Source Technolgoies under private label by one of the world's leading coated wire manufacturers. It is drawn under the same stringent European quality controls as the manufacturer's branded products.

It is a traditional, first generation gamma phase EDM wire with a focus on increased speed. Compared to brass wire, these wires can achieve up to 20% faster cutting speeds. VersaCut GH features a CuZn36 (64% copper, 36% zinc) brass core and a special gamma brass coating.  VersaCut GH is drawn to 800 N/mm2 and is particularly suited for machines which require straightened wires for reliable autothreading. It is recommended for Agie and all Japanese wire EDM machines and delivers up to 20% higher cutting speed compared to brass wire.
