It is made in Germany by bedra and belongs to a generation of new hybrid wires that combine key features of traditional γ-phase wires with traditional zinc coated wires. The result is up to 20% faster cutting speed compared to standard brass wire with excellent surface finish as well as very high accuracy and precision. HyperCut Wire is manufactured to the highest quality standards and due to its superior cleanliness and excellent straightness, it provides precise automatic threading and touch-off.

bedra HyperCut EDM Wire is made of a high zinc CuZn40 brass core and features a special γ-brass coating. It is drawn to a 900 N/mm2 tensile strength with 1% elongation. It is offered standard in .010" and .012" diameter on a variety of spools; however, it is available in other diameters upon request.
