bedra topas H.E.A.T. Extreme is the newest joint innovation from bedra and Makino. It is made exclusively for SST Consumables by bedra in Germany.
This new ultra-high-speed wire was developed specifically for Makino's U6 H.E.A.T. Extreme machines. It features the world's first .016"/0.4mm diameter EDM wire. H.E.A.T. Extreme has been developed with an innovative coating technology that allows for radically increased cutting speeds of up to 90% over 0.30mm/.012" diameter brass. The very efficient and optimized machine technology of the U6 H.E.A.T. Extreme allows for super slow wire feed speeds which decrease wire cost. The mechanical properties of the wire have been adapted to accommodate perfect auto-threading.
The wire is made in Germany and features a CuZn20 (80% copper, 20% zinc) brass core with a patented double layer coating.
Please note that this wire is only available in 0.4mm/.016" Diameter and needs to run on a Makino H.E.A.T. Extreme machine to take full advantage of its productivity gains.
