Axiom Brass EDM Wire is made under private label by one of the world's leading EDM wire manufacturers. It combines European quality control and production processes with the lower production costs stemming from a dedicated manufacturing location in Vietnam.
Axiom Brass is a good fit for all types of EDM machines and is well suited for standard applications requiring excellent accuracy and good surface finish. It is made wtih CuZn37 (63% copper, 37% zinc). The more commonly used hard version has a tensile strength of 900 N/mm² and an elongation of 1.5%. The soft version has a tensile strength of 500 N/mm² with an elongation of 20% which makes it well suited for taper cutting up to a 12° angle.
